Chaim Weizmann wants all of Palestine for a Zionist state by 1921
TNA FO 608/99 As reported by British Major-General Thwaites in February of 1919, Weizmann “wants to be able to give an assurance to the Jews throughout the world [that] a Jewish country will be established in, say, one or two years [by 1921]” This was presented as a modest demand: "He [Weizmann] does not want to push for extravagant claims for territory," and so "the Jordan as an eastern frontier [by 1921] would suffice as a commencement."
