On Eastern Christmas Eve of 1952, Israeli patrols blew up civilian houses in the Bethlehem area, forcing their residents to stay inside.

Israel claimed they were targeting the murderers of a Jewish girl in Israel.

No evidence had been given or suspects cited when the MAC (a UN committee overseeing the Armistice) met.

The paragraph beginning "In fact" is extraordinary: Israel framed its West Bank victims posthumously for a murder in Israel for which it had no evidence.
