Hebrew University President Judah Magnes lambasts the “growing trend towards totalitarianism amongst the Jews”.
He railed against the pressure, “particularly in America, to yield to Zionist totalitarianism which seeks to subject to its discipline the entire Jewish people”.
In response, the Jewish Agency smeared Magnes with a Nazi allusion.
Magnes favored a bi-national state.
