Nearly-successful bombing of Allied train into ravine

FO 1020/1774

Medloc (Allied) train after the Irgun’s unsuccessful attempt to blow it off the trestle into the ravine on the evening of 12 August, 1947.

The train carried about 200 civilians and Allied troops returning home.
